Bassist Clarke reinvents himself, jazz music

Bassist Stanley Clarke has been reinventing himself and the concept of jazz since his early days with Chick Corea and the jazz fusion group Return to Forever. This week the Stanley Clarke Band comes to Blues Alley for four evenings with the explosive configuration of Ruslan Sirota on keyboard, Ronal Bruner Jr. on drums and Japanese wonder woman Hiromi on piano. They will perform numbers from the self-named CD before launching their tour to Russia, Spain and points in between.
